Policy and law

This workpackage Roads and wildlife-Legal requirements and policy targets aims to analyse current European laws and policies with respect to mitigation demands for wildlife. It will highlight gaps and shortcomings and outline other important incentives for mitigation. This WP will return outcome-based specifications that are in compliance with the legal and policy frameworks 

Activities:

• Analysis of EU environmental legislation and policy.

• Developing guidelines for outcome-based specifications in wildlife mitigations.

Deliverables:

• Technical review on the EU environmental legislation and policy and outcome-based specifications for road mitigation
